The Bossa Soul Orchestra play mod jazz. Led by composer and arranger James Dorman the band's instrumental sound features a propulsive rhythm section, tight arrangements and driving solos. Incorporating elements of bossa soul, boogaloo and funk played by ace musicians, the ensemble's sound is as melodic as it is groovy.
