Jazz may have started in New Orleans but this bunch of New Yorkers seem to have stumbled over some roots in Central Park that inspired their sleazy ‘rough and tumble’ cabaret jazz and blues music. It’s a big fun thing they do, full of honking’n’ slinking horns with a wink and a nod in the lyrics and a definite touch of swing in the rhythm.
