Finding herself on a street corner in Melbourne pushed Bristol singer-songwriter Julia Turner to take the plunge and busk. It worked, thanks to a natural aptitude for jazzy vocals and a degree in music from Leeds University, but it was the honesty of her lyrics and deftness as a tunesmith that won them Aussie hearts. Now she's home again there's an album's worth of numbers at her fingertips and she's happy to be sharing them with you.
