Infused with smoky backroom jazz and blues singer/songwriter James Ladd’s voice is a natural fit to his nicely balanced mix of classic folk-blues and original tunes. He’s a nifty guitar player too and this acoustic trio with Jon Short’s bass and John Blakeley on the drums gives him the welcome chance to show those skills off a little.
