Georgia is a dancer, facilitator, and community-builder on a mission to get more people off their phones and onto the dance floor.

Georgia founded Call Me Ceilidh, now known as cmc-events, after recognising a gap in how people connect socially; creating joyful, welcoming spaces where people can meet, make friends, and share real experiences without the pressure of apps or awkward small talk. Dance became the answer: accessible, uplifting, and built around collective joy rather than performance.

Her Country Hoedown, has the same ethos. The evening is designed for absolute beginners and seasoned dancers alike; no experience needed, no judgement, just easy-to-follow routines, laughter, and feel-good energy. Fancy dress is encouraged, mistakes are celebrated, and everyone leaves having shared something memorable.

Georgia's work is rooted in the belief that connection happens through shared experience; not just meeting for coffee, but laughing, moving, and creating memories together.
