'In the name of Ra’, is a London-based quartet made up of tenor sax, electric guitar, bass and drums.

Our journey as a band started in 2023, and we take inspiration from music originating all over the world, jazz and free improvisation. Despite no direct affiliation with Egypt, we are named after the Egyptian god of the sun; ‘[Amun] Ra’. Our music and ethos as a band are driven by the idea of bringing a raw energy to the stage that inspire our audiences. We aim to draw on the experiences of those around us and those that have come before to bring an eclectic, vibrant and powerful sound to our listeners. Each member brings their own influences and philosophies to produce a sound that travels far but brings you back to where you need to be. Our goal is to spread our sound as far as we can, expanding our community and connection with like-minded people who want to be a part of our journey with us.

Entry requirements: 18+
