A gig on Tuesday 30th April. The event starts at 19:00.

Join us for our second iteration of £2 Tuesdays at The Cock & Tail! After the success of our previous event, we have curated a special lineup composed of 5 of the best up and coming bands in Bristol and the South West!

UltraSound

- Ultrasound is brother’s Jake and Harry Ellis’ alt-rock experiment. Taking influence from the likes of Radiohead, Nick Drake and Funkadelic, Ultrasound has always been about shying away from convention. Our sound is characterized by its duality; somber, personal verses fall away for cacophonic choruses, discordant harmonies and soaring distortion. Despite sitting squarely in the realms of deep-well melancholy, Ultrasound is almost always - and rather bitter-sweetly - ornamented with a sense of hope and longing.

Cosm

- Psychedelic/Shoegaze inspired Indie Rock from both sides of the Atlantic!

Eton mess

- We are Eton Mess, a UK based Punk Rock band emerging out of the South West. Our debut single ‘The End’ has been described as a ‘head banger’ & ‘feet stomper’ by fans, it features punky rhythms, melodies in the chorus, with harder punk rock sounds to bring it all together. Fans have called us the future of Punk Rock.

King Louis

- KING LOUIS is comprised of Josh (vocals), Ben (drums), Ptolemy (guitar) and Jake (bass). Being extremely different in musical influence, style and personality is one of the greatest strengths of the group in their opinion. It is with this difference they were able to identify a common thread of both a love for music, and also the ability as young men to communicate feelings through their creative processes. For KING LOUIS, their melodies are crafted and lead by Ptolemy in a bedroom-guitarist kind of way. Ptolemy has an extraordinary ability to continually turn riffs and ideas into melodic concepts to which Josh crafts the lyrics to mirror the ‘feeling in the room’. Ben and Jake complete the process- bringing the flurry of ideas into structured and digestible song; adding anthem-feel rock and roll fills through to funk reminiscent baselines.

Who Killed Bunny

- New kids on the block 'Who Killed Bunny?' are Bristol's newest and toughest indie rock band, their name inspire by Donna Tartt's dark thriller, The Secret History. Made up of singer and guitarist Lilybelle, bassist Friday, lead guitarist Albert and drummer Benny, they combine a mixture of dreamy vocals and a driving rhythm section creating a sound worthy of an old-school gothic western. 'Who Killed Bunny?' is up and coming in 2024, so keep your eyes peeled with much more to look out for this year.

Entry requirements: 18+
