A clubnight held at The Cooler on Friday 19th August. The event starts at 20:00.

What's Next? has a huge take over with two of the brightest new stars from Cheap Thrills, the label run by Joshua'Herv' Harvey.

DETBOI

Since his first EP dropped In 2008 ( 'Hold Up') Detboi has gained praise from the major players of the scene including Herv, Sinden, Annie Mac and Crookers and in 2008 Detboi released an EP on Skint Records, the widely acclaimed'Come Rest Up / Jump Up & Down' EP,

appearing on the Count & Sinden Essential mix and Tommie Sunshines'Relax, This Won't Hurt' mix series. Detboi also contributed to Herv's'Machines Dont Care' collaboration project producing with Herv, Sinden and Trevor Loveys.

After an incredible tour of Japan, which saw Detboi play 4 cities in 5 nights, he came back refreshed and inspired to complete his first long player which Cheap Thrills have called a'mega EP'. It sees Detboi step up his productions another level and join the major players. Ranging from the tweaking'Dem Dem' which Major Lazor would be proud of; to the Fatboy Slim approved joyous disco of'Rainbows'; this is as good a collection of dance tracks anyone will release in 2010.

BAXTA

20 year old Baxta is a exciting young producer and DJ coming out of west London. Getting his first set of turntables at 12 he started mixing old Reggae and ska records and at 16 got his first Job working at the London record Shop Rough Trade but it wasn't until listening to Rinse Fm and finding a whole new world of underground music that he decided to start making music of his own. His unique Dubstep style draws influence from many u.k genres such as garage/2step DnB Dub and uk rave but always putting his own stamp on his tracks with unique sounds and a good ear for a melody making his DJ sets and productions exciting and very entertaining. Baxta had his first release on Herves Label Cheap thrills in september of 2010 the'Mr Sinister' E.p and the follow up'Connection' E.p is set to be released early 2011 with remix's from Dub Police artists D1 and Soundproof. He has recently worked on tracks with Detboi, Herve, Meleka, Dansette Junior, Soundproof and remixed tracks for Shades of rhythm, The Count and Sinden, Trevor Loveys, Love Amongst Ruin, and Detboi. his records have seen supported by DJ's such as Zane Lowe, Herve, Martelo, Eddy Temple Morris, His majesty Andre, Warrior One, Junior Sanchez. and as a DJ he's played alongside Dubstep heavyweights such as Coki and the Others and also on Rinse fm.
