A
gig
held at The Coronation Tap
on Tuesday 22nd May. The event starts at 20:00.
Blythe Pepino and The Baker Boys deliver swinging tunes in a French gypsy style to your tappin' feet resurrecting lost goldies by the likes of Slim Gaillard and Josephine Baker as well as reinventing well-known classics by Fats Waller, The Mills Brothers and Louis Prima. This is fast, exciting playing delivered with a grin by the skilled band: Harry Sankey, guitar; Valere Speranza, double bass; Denny Ilett, guitar, and Giacomo Smith, clarinet, alongside the playful/sultry vocal skills and big dresses of Blythe Pepino. Bring your white teeth and your glad rags because you'll be smiling, singing and dancing to this lot!
