After a hugely successful launch night at Blue Mountain earlier this year, Sanctuary is back. This time we'll be scaling things down a little, bringing you some fresh and exciting local talent in one of Bristol's most loved venues The Croft. We're delighted to be having Lukas come down and play for us this time, supported by Sanctuary residents Harry Bugg and Pursuit.

Lukas (Futureboogie / Moda Black / Dirt Crew Recordings)
Producer, DJ, remixer, secret location party maker, creator of seductively sneaky re-edits: Lukas is all of these, and has long been in the vanguard of Bristol's electronic music scene.
As a producer, he forges elements of house, disco and techno in a unique alchemy that's won praise and plays from a diverse bunch of key DJs: Scuba to Jamie Jones, Ivan Smagghe to Pete Tong. Since the saxophone-laced, deep house cut'A Bigger Splash' landed on Futureboogie Recordings in 2011, Lukas has seen his stock slowly rise. His release as Maison de Cheval with mate (and label mate) Christophe (which Faith magazine called'a future classic') has been omnipresent across discerning dancefloors since it's release.
His remix of'The Force' became a massive hit for a huge range of DJs last year, including Jaymo and Andy George who'played it every set' at Ibiza space. When he remixed Crazy P's'Changes' it received the Mixmag'download of the week' seal of approval. Remix commissions then followed from Dirt Crew recordings, and the legendary FFRR label, amongst others, and his collaboration with Eats Everything (as The Eel) spawned the almighty mighty club banger'0200'. His recent work, 'Best in Show' was swiftly snapped up by the discerning rave ears of the Moda Black label.
As a DJ, his sets have been honed at some of the world's most exciting venues: From the legendary Bar 25 in Berlin, to poolside parties in Italy, to Glastonbury Festival and Secret Garden party. He is also co-founder, resident DJ and driving creative force behind Alfresco Disco, which over the last few years has become one of the most anticipated underground music events in the UK.
Needless to say, we're extremely excited to have Lukas play for us on April 25th.
