Alpaca Presents | Bible Club at Crofters Rights

A gig held at The Croft on Friday 16th December. The event starts at 19:00.

Bible Club | Genre-blending and noisy, Bible Club's fluid and open approach to their sound produce encapsulating live performances. Having played alongside notable acts such as 'The Lounge Society' ' Baby Strange', and Australian psych-punk band 'Dr Sure's Unsuaul Practise, as well as performing around Bristol venues as part of the city's growing music scene, the band have honed and developed their live set. With the release of 'Hide' this December, the band's third single, they will close their first year with a headline show too, after a sold-out show for their first single release, 'Mr Lizard'; the 4-piece are back to The Crofters Rights to deliver their signature noisy soundscapes, desert-fuelled rhythms, and punk energy

Holy Reptile | Bristol based dark fuzz three piece - Holy Reptile - deliver blistering tight fuzzy walls of sound contrasted by subdued lyrics that explore differing emotional states.
After the release of their debut E.P Yawner the band return more moody than ever with new single ‘Bad Moon’.

Ex Agent | Sitting restlessly between post-rock and free-jazz, Ex
Agent throw together dissonant symphonies of sax
and piano, alongside frantic guitars, drums, and
haunting vocals. Combining elements of punk, jazz
and gonzo journalism, the five-piece sprinkle a taste of
noir into a salty No Wave cacophony
FFO: The Lounge Lizards, Tortoise, The Fall, This
Heat

Vostok | "Energetic interpretations of post-rock with roots in Bristol's contemporary jazz scene. Vostok is formed of 3 multi-disciplinary artists united by a desire to create detailed, highly-structured compositions influenced by math-rock, and dabbling in pastiches of various popular songwriting traditions."
