Automotion - The London-four piece released their debut EP, In Motion, in June 2021, and more recently are back with their latest projects Ecstatic Oscillations and Heights of a Hermit. The band, fronted by Lennon Gallagher (son of icon Liam Gallagher) decribe this release as more “varied and experimental” than their previous outings, but has now cemented the band as one of the most exciting Post Punk outfits the capital has to offer. Listen to Dithyramb to get to know (https://open.spotify.com/track/0IPe2RYvS2Su5ylcKM2scf?si=078095b39cc2494d).
Broadsheets - new bristol band Broadsheets have been making waves with some strong shows recently, including supporting Ulrika Spacek at Dareshack, and are growing a strong following through post-rock/slowcore sound. They have recently released their debut single Gung-Ho Blue and we are very excited to hear what else they have in their catalogue.
Melotone - Opening the show we are excited to welcome Melotone a psych-alternative band from the Black Country based in Bristol. Their most recent single Entre Ondas recently saw support on BBC Radio 6 Music from Jamz Supernova, who also played us as a First Look artist for 2023 on her Selector Radio show, as well as support from CRACK's The Best New Music playlist. We then sold out our single launch at The Cloak and Dagger in Bristol, supported by Quade and Pem.
Their debut single Dances on Tableaus came out in May this year (music video), which earned press support from Fred Perry Subculture and Metal Magazine, among others. Following this release, we were approached by Think Twice Records who signed us to release a second single in November and an EP in 2023.
