Gyrofield [Metalheadz/Overview/Critical]:
The work of Hong-Kong-born, Bristol-based gyrofield (Kiana Li) eludes single descriptors.
A self-taught writer and musician, their work is born from an interweaving relationship with electronic music. There is a beating heart at the core of every gyrofield piece, but adorned and disheveled with layers of interpreted life and absorbed culture.
Their upcoming releases reveal a new chapter, one where life further blurs with the process of creation, one where music is equal parts escapism and self-realization.
All art is constantly understood and misunderstood, but widespread support from dance music’s other trailblazers and most-respected tastemakers show a growing resonance with her work.

Originally from Jersey, this talented young producer has recently broken into the scene with his extremely well honed production. His take is fresh yet refined and, with clear jungle influences, his unique style effortlessly covers all corners of the underground drum and bass spectrum.

Hellas sound refuses to be put into a box, with influences ranging from James Blake to Hudson Mohawke, expect the unexpected.
