Community Disc-O's Presents // #10
A clubnight held at The Croft on Saturday 20th May. The event starts at 23:00.
Behold, all ye funky souls and dancefloor divas, the time has come for the tenth instalment of the infamous Community Disc-O's Presents! And where else would we host such an extravaganza than the mighty Crofters Rights, a temple of Bristol's underground scene.
Brace yourselves for a night of disco magic and groovy delights as we invite Italian sensation, Sara Mautone. With her infectious rhythms and cosmic sounds, get ready to surrender to her irresistible selections and let the music take over your body and soul.
Sara Mautone is a fashion photographer, DJ and vinyl collector. She started her radio career with a residency on the Milanese Radio Raheem and has since appeared on NTS, Rinse France and Radio Nova. Specializing in Brazilian and Japanese music from the 70s and 80s, Sara has a penchant for sophisticated and ethereal grooves. Her imagery is also perceived when she works behind the lens and takes photographs characterized by a predilection for bodies and movement. In addition to her radio mixes, Sara performs in the most renowned clubs and festivals throughout Europe, collaborating with established realities such as Jazz Re:found, Polifonic, Anna Molly. We can't wait for Sara to visit Bristol and to get us moving.
As always let's not forget local resident Admin, who'll be on warm up duties (and some possible late night action). He'll be getting the dancefloor hot with a selection of jazzy groovy bangers and funky boogie records.
So, don your dancing shoes and get ready to boogie all night long! Let's keep our community of disco lovers alive and dance the night away...
See you on the floor! x
