John E Vistic Rock N Roll Sound System
With Third House and Quick Romance

/////////////////////////////////////////

John E Vistic is a multi-instrumentalist, & award-winning songwriter who plays a unique brand of 'filthy punk', rock n roll & alt-country. With influences from Jesus & The Mary Chain & Marky Ramone to Idles, Metz & Fontaines DC. John E Vistic's latest single was described by the BBC as ‘Massive as ever from John E Vistic! John E Vistic is producing some of the most in your face music coming out of Bristol right now…’.

‘Third House’ is an alliance between Dave Barbarossa (drummer with Adam Ant, Bow Wow Wow and Republica) Umair “Spider” Chaudhry (Silent Weapon / Walls of Freedom) and Graham Dalzell (John E Vistic / Emily Breeze). The sound takes elements of post-punk, darkwave and electronica, combining Dave’s tribal drums, Umair’s guitar / baritone vocals, and Graham’s driving bass to create something unique. Lyrically, the songs deal with themes of personal struggle, spirituality/mysticism and societal observation. Their first EP, “Inside Outside” was released in November 2024, featuring 4 songs written, produced and performed by the band. A second EP, Minor Crown is due for release in October 2025.

If the bass line from The Rezillos’ “Flying Saucer Attack” married the vocal line from X-Ray Spex’s “Oh Bondage, Up Yours!”, with The Shangri-Las as bridesmaids; that’s Quick Romance. Singer, Matilda Scotland and her bandmates are real mean teens, in love with clothes, music and Brian Jones’s hair.
