Saturday 23rd November, we welcome label creator and cultural collector to relay his worldly musical wares to The Crofters Rights dancefloor.

Pete Buckenham’s On The Corner records discovers and celebrates music from far-flung corners of the world. The label connects more people to the lesser known sounds and voices of the global underground; unearthing acts like Penya, Dengue Dengue, Tamar Colluctor and DJ Khalab that blend african/latin rhythms with explosive erratic electronica.

His award-winning Worldwide.fm radio show spans jazz to trance, spoken word and electronica; to afrobeat and Chicago house with the On The Corner operation hosting label showcases at Shambala and We Out Here and Pete’s DJ sets blending afrobeat, disco, latin and house music to dance floors across Europe.
