Yes yes we return to The Crofters back room for another proper heads down session of dancing and good grooves!
This month we welcome a very special guest we are honoured to bring all the way west from Norwich for a set in Bristol!
Since his early pirate radio days and club sets in the mid 1980s Kev Beadle has always pushed the musical boundaries choosing from a spectrum rooted in jazz and soul. Anyone who has witnessed his DJ sets around the world as well as residences and guest slots at various legendary nights and events including Dingwalls, The Wag, The Fez, Special Branch and of course the Southport Weekenders and Suncebeat will know to expect to be both entertained and educated by his selections.
These days Kev holds down a weekly radio show (which we highly recommend checking out), every Sunday afternoon on Totally Wired Radio which reflects Kev’s vast experience as a DJ and record collector. Kev has curated compilations for Blue Note Records, Cadet, Clean Up and more recently BBE, playing music from around the world – jazz, soul, latin, Brazilian, blending the obscure with the known as much as fresh new talent with the established.
