In the last year, Bristol's Psych-Garage-Pop quartet Dreamwave has performed at Glastonbury Festival, sold out their most recent hometown shows and gained playlist and radio support from NME, BBC Introducing, BBC Radio Bristol and Soho Radio. As well as this, they have opened for The Night Beats (Heavenly), Boogarins, & System Exclusive (Castle Face Records).
One of Dreamwave's most powerful and relentless offerings, 'Mindcave', released February 16th, is the first single from the new EP “Dreamwave And The Mindcave’. The single offers a glimpse into the electrifying energy characteristic of Dreamwave's live performances. Serving as a homage to the raw intensity of old-school Punk and 70s Garage-Rock, it blends in infectious synth and guitar melodies reminiscent of the nervous energy and edgy stylings of Devo and The B-52's. ‘Mindcave’ has already received praise in various reviews and has been added to ‘NME’s New Bangers’ and Ones To Watch ‘Now Watching’ playlists.
