The Croft Presents: Roska, REA + more at The Croft
Headfirst Editor's Pick

"UK funky is thriving right now and Roska is one of the trailblazers responsible for its continued proliferation across club dancefloors. With releases on Numbers, Tectonic and Rinse Recordings, the Roska Kicks & Snares label boss is a rhythmical champion, serving up the smoothest, future-facing blends of percussive beats and body-rattling sub-bass to boot. Miss this prince at your peril!"

**20 TICKETS ON THE DOOR FROM 11PM - FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED** The Croft Presents: Roska, Rea + Support When it comes to UK sounds, it’s hard to overlook the ground Wayne Goodlitt has covered under Roska. He's been at the forefront of UK underground music, merging genres and pushing UK Funky for just over a decade. Roska’s production style has varied over the years, ranging from stripped-back, percussion-driven rollers to more club-influenced vocal creations, all of which consistently deliver a tremendously recognisable rhythmic punch. His work has gained support across the UK and internationally, with key music hubs such as the USA and Asia showing love for the UK legend. Sonic innovators will always be hailed for their musical contributions in the UK, especially those seen as being within the founding-father range of a genre’s history. Roska is without a doubt one of the UK artists falling into that legendary bracket, with no intention of slowing down any time soon. Joining him is Bristol's very own Rea - DJ, producer, and founder of G Club, a new imprint rooted in the fusion of global club sounds. She blends the energy of UK club culture with the percussive rhythms of Bollywood and the warmth of Latin influences, discovered while living in Spain. With sets that move fluidly between underground grit and melodic intensity, Rea creates dancefloor moments that feel both nostalgic and fresh. A resident at SWU FM and frequent on UK and European stages, Rea builds musical bridges that span continents and club rooms. In 2025, Rea’s performances have included headline shows across Manchester, London, Bristol, Glasgow and Gothenburg, alongside appearances at renowned festivals such as Outlook, Glastonbury and Dour (Belgium). She also produced the opening ceremony track for Boomtown 2025, a testament to her growing presence across both club and festival circuits.
