on Sunday 23rd June. The event starts at 19:00.
On June 23rd June, Bristol will spawn an electro monster with Lucky and Love all the way from USA, Yorkshire's Jan Doyle Band and Bristol's very own New Haunts and Death By Magic all sharing the stage!
Lucky+Love will present in support of their new album 'Transitions' their catchy electro pop songs that are ever so slightly tinged with the dark. Throbbing warm analogue synths meet live electronic drums adding far more vibrance and action than most electronic bands.
Their debut LUCKY+LOVE LP was featured on Amazon Prime's show, This Week #Indie featured over 400 press and radio shows worldwide.
Big Take Over called their debut LP record, "addictive with its rhythmic pulsations, distant yet attractively whirling vocals, synth-heavy bass, and layered, vibing harmony. This is rich, intriguing synthtastic mastery."
Jan Doyle Band
The world's first INSURRECTIONARY NEO FUTURIST band return to Bristol to play after their extremely well received show in March earlier this year. The riotus reception at Crofters for the spectacle that Jan Doyle Band present made them very eager to return.
This time though they are aiming to display their more subtle synthier side, you can still expect a similarly stunning and spectacular live show.
Sublime atmospheric and unsurprisingly 'haunting' music from Bristol that we fell in love with immediately. Contrasting the jarring with the serene - combining elements of post-punk, early industrial, goth and synthpop with soft ambient synths, arresting yet melodic vocals, discordance and mechanical beats
Bristol based duo, they create a fusion of spiritual sounds, haunting, driving melodies and emotionally driven lyrics; often dark and hypnotic. They have developed a style which hints towards otherworldly realms; of the past and future combined: a time which has always existed, and will always remain in the future.
Their music genre can be described as dreamwave and ambient pop. The influences of their sound are in early 80s electronic music and darkwave pop.
