MOUNT ZOOKA
Mount Zooka gave five of their songs to AI to analyse and not a single band was mentioned more than once, which suggests Mount Zooka are either completely unique, or they sound like lots of different bands. Here is a selection of artistes the machine spat out: Viceroy, The Orchids, M. Ward, Placebo, Grateful Dead, Paul Simon, The Inmates, G. Love & Special Sauce, The Honeycombs, Craft Spells, Yeasayer, Parquet Courts, The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion and The Futureheads. Far be it from Mount Zooka to disagree with our soon-to-be robot overlords, but some of those seem like a bit of a stretch. Mount Zooka think they sound more like something you remember from a dream you once had where you were on Who Wants to be a Millionaire, but Chris Tarrant had turned into a giant toad and your phone-a-friend went through to hold music. Yes, Mount Zooka play the hold music of your dreams. Decide for yourself who was right – the heartless machine or the living, breathing band – and dance until your shoes fall off.

SUGARMOON
Serving a hazy brew of rock and folk, Sugarmoon take retro charm and mix it with modern songwriting to create their own unique sound. Now crowd favourites in the local Bristol scene, they have branched out to festivals across the country this summer.
"Extraordinary – we love a band that look like they are enjoying themselves as much as those watching" – Bristol Gig Guide
"Bristol's leading folk-pop force" – Tap The Feed
