Alpaca Presents | Taipan + Support at Crofters Rights

A gig held at The Croft on Thursday 1st December. The event starts at 19:00.

Alpaca Presents | Taipan, Holy Popes & Pseudo Cool

Taipan | Bristol based 3 piece angry noise makers, a product of Feeder Road, raw and ruthless

HOLY POPES |The irony of giving godly importance to man made
ideas. Systems of oppression created to make us subservient to
religion, to capitalism, to patriarchy.
HOLY POPES have a gusty, raw approach to post-punk, garage,
and rock, with a primeval, dirty, and desperate quality about them.
the rhythm section adding to the tensions of the vocals, as if
gasping for air and grasping at a moment of security. You can feel
the anger and energy of the songs, build within you, as they cast an
unsparing eye on modern society.

Psuedo Cool | A ‘dirty pop’ band from Maesteg. We write
fast-paced songs observing society and advocating for equality of
the sexes through music that is punchy, witty and raw. For fans of
Buzzcocks, The Voice of the Beehive or Ramones.
