Sudo Sound: DE-TÜ, Enada & Wallace at Crofters Rights

A clubnight held at The Croft on Thursday 12th October. The event starts at 23:00.

SUDO SOUND is back at Crofters with another big night of bass-heavy business to suit all. DE-TÜ are no strangers to the Bristol bass scene with numerous releasers and imprints finding their way onto sound-systems across the city.

DE-TÜ consists of Jevon Ives & Chris Iona who have been writing music together since 2012. Born and raised in London/Greater London and now situated in Bristol. Having picked up worldwide attention they have toured the world, showing off their refined unmistakable sound. This is UK underground bass music at its finest.

“Both Jevon and Chris work to their strengths in the studio. The fusion of weighty sound-system precision and immaculate rhythms, occasionally topped off by Ives’ sinister vocals, brings a sound that is difficult to imitate.”

Support from Dynamics founder, Enada.

Enada is a DJ fluent in all things 140. Her exceptional ear for dubstep nourishes her mixes with a unique character that leans distinctively towards the dark side, guiding a tasteful and forward-thinking selection. With a slew of prestigious accolades and endorsements including Outlook Festival, UKF, Croydub, 1985 Music, Rinse FM, Subtle FM, and also hosting a monthly residency on Bristol based radio show SWU FM, it’s clear to see that she’s doing something right.

She is also the mind behind Dynamics: a growing database and platform that celebrates female, female-identifying and non-binary artists in dubstep and drum & bass. With this exciting new initiative only just dawning, and a reliably gripping musical output, there is an encouraging future ahead for this DJ-cum-activist.
