"Hailing from the Southern shores of Bournemouth, DJ and producer Neffa-T has made waves in the 140 scene, becoming a resident on Brixton radio station Reprezent, as well as releasing on labels such as White Peach and It’s Foundation. Just like the murky waters off his hometown’s coast, ‘T’s selection combines the video-game synths and serrated cymbal-work of grime with dubstep’s throbbing basslines and room-filling ambiance. Throwing in a health dose of bass music too, the end result always culminates in a forceful energy suitable for dancing as much as it is spitting.
Technically speaking, the man’s ability as a DJ is self-evident, commonly using three decks to blend his bangers together in unique fashion. This mix is no different, with wizardly control and seamless fusion characterising the recording. Balancing the three genres in equal measure, the end result is a half hour of forceful, bass-riddled listening.
