Basic Pleasure Model + The 45’s

New Wave & Post-Punk vs Motown & Rock ’n’ Roll

New Wave dancefloor anthems collide with high-speed Motown and Rock ’n’ Roll as two of Bristol’s busiest live bands share the stage for a high-energy double bill. Expect sharp 80s hooks and big sing-along dancefloor classics, alongside fast-paced Soul, Motown and Rock ’n’ Roll — all building toward an outrageously packed dance-off.

BASIC PLEASURE MODEL New wave. Synth-pop. Post-punk. Relentless 80s dancefloor energy. A tight three-piece delivering a seamless live show built around iconic 80s anthems — Talking Heads, Blondie, Duran Duran, David Bowie and more — blended together into a high-impact, non-stop show. Following appearances at Glastonbury, Boomtown and Shambala, the band have built a reputation as the ones to watch.

THE 45’s Fuzzy-scuzzy Motown Rock ’n’ Roll. One of the busiest bands on the Bristol circuit, The 45’s deliver a show packed with Soul, Motown and Rock ’n’ Roll floor-fillers — played fast, loud and with style. Their show is contagious and will get any crowd moving, with nods to James Brown, Otis Redding and classic rock ’n’ roll energy. A Bristol institution, they’ve become a regular fixture across festivals, venues and parties across the South West.
