Screensavers Presents - JOEY GARDINER at Crofters Rights

A gig held at The Croft on Thursday 6th April. The event starts at 19:00.

Currently studying music at Bimm Bristol, 21 year old Joey Gardiner has been seriously knocking on the music industry's door- step. Self proclaiming that early 1975 vibes' was the aim, and a main and clear influence on the body of work he was set to write. Whilst the conventions and feel of young, indie bedroom pop are there, the rule breaking shines through as his catalog takes on a more rough and ready rock like feel with a nod to some darker subjects, touching upon mental health and addiction. After releasing a string of singles over lockdown, he's been met with a great response from a local South West audience, and actor Paul Cooper giving him full support.

Joey will be joined by:

Sean Edwards: A singer/songwriter from just outside London - new to Bristol, exited to share his work and grow in the scene. People have branded him close to The Killers, Jeff Buckley, Bloc Party and others resembling an indie-rock, nostalgic, and sometimes melancholic sound.

Sam Paul: An honest Indie Singer Songwriter who is just being Sam. He sings songs about moments in his life that he has been through that people listening live vicariously through performances and their listening experiences of his music. He's an artist that does what he loves and you can tell it. With chilled out and alt indie vibes he plays easy going acoustic music that is catchy and will for sure get your foot tapping.
