A gig held at The Croft on Tuesday 20th November. The event starts at 20:00.

Pseudo Nippon, Jonny Velon and Holler & Clunk are joining forces on this Tuesday night in Bristol and invite you to this one off triple header gig that will be one to remember!

The sounds will be booming, the visuals eye popping and all the night needs now is YOU - down the front deciding which one of these unique and combustible acts will be the soundtrack of your journey home.

Pseudo Nippon will be motoring down the M4 from London to play The Croft for the second time this winter and will be bringing the full force and sparks of their new album Colorama. With double drummer rhythms, stomach spinning bass glitches and preacher man vocals the Nippons provide an intense set that is a treat for the eyes as much as the ears.

After gigging around the UK this autumn, shooting their first full video and enjoying a rare and wonderful slice of air play on RADIO 1, Colorama is set for release on November 5th on Tiger Trap Recordings. The band will have vinyls, cds and T-shirts on sale for any one wanting to commit to the Pseudo sound.

Bristol favourite Jonny Velon will be gracing the stage accompanied by drums and bass to present this stunning set of unique and addictive song writing. Jonny describes his sound as mystic, oriental British folk rock - like John Martyn meets King Crimson.

In a recent review Grain Barge wrote of the set"Psychedelic rock'n'roll with infectious harmonies and towering structures and a proper pop sensibility. We think McCartney meets Costello on acid. Jonny Velon fronts this full band of sharp players, a show not to be missed. " It won't be long before a record arrives from this trio and when it does I know I'll be playing it all day and thanking my lucky stars that I saw them before they got too BIG!

From Cumbria comes the rumbling, rolling, raucous rock of Holler and Clunk. Liam Dalrymple took his bass and guitars with him to the northern forests and into his caravan, writing primal songs that take as much from English folk as Amercian rock. After his fantastic drummer joined him deep in the woods the sound of Holler and Clunk was born. When your bass is this loud, your drummer this massive and the vocals this raw you don't need anyone else. Sounds like the very noise of the earth with heavy hell lurking around the corner.
