Inwards, EP/64 & King Monday w/ Irie Pixel visuals at Crofters Rights

A gig held at The Croft on Tuesday 28th August. The event starts at 19:00.

Inwards

Inwards work exists in the experimental domain and draws influence from the far borders of dance music, using modular synths with acoustic and electronic sources to create a nostalgic and colourful sonic palette.

His debut album 'Diesel', released through Small Pond Records, has taken the attention of many, finding recent airtime BBC Radio 1. Hot Wax Promotions are excited to bring you the record’s cracked, psychedelia-tinged energy to Bristol for the first time. Inwards live performances vary from one environment to the next, taking on absorbing and organic forms through the manipulation of his modulars. This spectacle, aided by his immersive visuals, is not one to be ignored.

EP/64

EP/64 is a wild improvisation group with variable geometry, formed by vocalist Dali de Saint Paul. Dali once had a dream where she formed a band to play 64 shows with and then cease. This is 'Ephemeral Project 64', the wild improv duo. Nearly halfway through it's lifespan, EP/64 bless us with show #31.

King Monday

Born out of an obsession to create, and a passion for the vast world of electronic music, King Monday acts as a catalyst for the imagination of Sherwyn Appadu. Think Four Tet meets James Blake, or Floating Points meets Sampha. King Monday has spent a long time crafting this live debut for us.
