Hailing from South London, dubplate tastemaker and Rinse FM resident, RIZ LA TEEF, is revered for his love of all things vinyl.
A one-of-a-kind selector with a treasure trove of records, specials and rarities from across UKG, UK funky, dubstep and grime, RIZ has spent the last decade establishing himself as one of the UK’s most sought-after DJs. As comfortable performing with MCs as he is curating extended sets aimed squarely at the dancefloor, RIZ’s energy and character behind the decks have also become a calling card all of their own.
Working that same passion into curation, RIZ also established his own vinyl-only imprint – South London Pressings – in 2019, with a view to pushing some of the freshest, new-school UKG on the market, helping break artists like Y U QT and DJ Crisps in the process.
His vast back catalogue of mixes from across radio (Rinse FM, BBC 1Xtra, NTS Live) to industry-leading platforms like Boiler Room, DJ Mag and FACT are a further testament to his credentials too.
