Learning the craft of DJing as a child and developing a passion for beats and production, Trex was initially all about the crate-dug samples, repurposed soul and funk grooves, and heavyweight basslines of hip-hop. Then, moving to Bristol in the late nineties opened his eyes to a whole new musical world. One populated by icons like Roni Size and the Ruffneck Ting crew, who took those same elements, reconfigured them into drum 'n' bass, and created magic with it. The young Trex fell in love.

Now, with two full-length albums under his belt for mac2, an unstoppable torrent of singles and EPs on the likes of mau5trap, Metalheadz, Dispatch + more, along with a passport-battering deejaying schedule, Trex has proven himself to be a highly in-demand artist.
