Join us for a powerful sonic ceremony of vocal workshop and ritual sound journey in an atmospheric historic location, The Crypt at St. John on the Wall that is built into the oldest medieval wall in the heart of Bristol, with the most stunning acoustics.

This is a unique gathering of sonic ritual artists from diverse cultural roots, including Mexico, Hong Kong and the UK. Our purpose is to cultivate a sonic ritual through the power of frequencies and sound, expressed through vocal toning, intuitive voice weaving, shamanic drumming, whistles, flutes and the harmonising of body, mind and spirit, culminating in the primal roar of the Mayan black jaguar and the embodiment of inner power through awakening your inner dragon.

No previous singing experience is required, come as you are. If you don't feel like using your voice, you are also welcomed to bathe in the collective oneness of the sonic frequencies.

Ruben Yon'ton
Ritual sonic ceremonial artist from the Mayan roots, Ruben brings his sonic medicine to festivals and events around the world. He regularly leads powerful drum birthing ceremonies in nature. He has a deep connection with plant and animal medicines. Ruben is the master of sound frequencies and he holds the power to shift consciousness through the interweaving of his voice and his drumming. His enchanting presence will lead you to a mind altering experience of sonic journey.

Wai Guen
Originally from Hong Kong, Wai Guen is a voice weaver who is passionate about weaving ancient Chinese wisdom of Daoism, power of breath and our voices to unravel the ancestral songs that are within each of us. She channels spirit songs that bring harmony, openness and timelessness into the space she holds. She also has a strong cultural connection with the spirit of dragon and she feels the call to bring remembrance of our innate power that lies deep within us.

Kyle Rose
Kyle is a dedicated Medicine Man specialising in holistic practices to facilitate deep restoration and realisation. Through his ceremonies, Kyle harnesses the power of sacred sound instruments and shamanic tools, guiding individuals and groups towards grounded but expansive states of awareness. Coming from a rich and diverse ancestral linage, Kyle combines a multitude of instruments particularly focusing on the drum, voice, Digeridoo and flutes to empress the vibration of nature and sounds to help others come closer to spirit.

Elian Kidd
Elian has dedicated his life to the exploration of devotional song seeing music as a vessel to carry our hearts towards the divine, cleansing and healing the soul in the process. From Christian Gospel, to Sufi Zhkir, Qwaali and Andean medicine music to the many different bhakti devotional sounds and ancient mantras of India, Elian leads devotional song gatherings around the world, sharing a wide array of love songs to the divine in its many forms, including many of his own original heart songs due to be released later this year.
