A six-piece manband featuring vocal harmonies, harmonica, guitars, dobro, double bass, banjo, fiddle, mandolin and drums. It's Bluegrass, country, rockin' hillbilly and organised chaos, just for you! Slapface & the Hoagies started in May 2012 with the idea to start a band that would be equally at home in the corner of a pub as it was on a festival stage. The common aim was to provide good-time music that draws on influences such as Old Crow Medicine Show, Johnny Cash, The Dodge Brothers and so on. With a group of musicians, some of which have been playing together for more than 20 years, this was the coming together of good musicians and good friends.
