Lynchburg at The Exchange
£5

A gig on Friday 6th September. The event starts at 20:00.

Lynchburg: Telling tales of an old-west which they have never visited (and doubt ever existed) through the medium of too-loud Americana tinged rock, Lynchburg are often waylaid by feedback, shoegazing, screaming, and silence as they try to carve a rhinestone niche to call their own.

With influences ranging from The Roots to Metallica via a heavy dose of Ryan Adams, Lynchburg are indeed wading strange waters but their sound has been likened to that of Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds and Siouxsie and The Banshees.

(IN BRACKETS): A hook driven melodic rock band, we write our own music. We have performed around Bristol, Wells and Street and have recently recorded our first EP.

DIVING BELL: "Diving Bell are a perfect example of how the lo-fi, guitar orientated Bristol-scene is currently in a grimy rennaissance. The hegemony of the guitar might have been temporarily overthrown in the rest of the UK, but here in Bristol the guitar is, and always has been, noisily thriving. Diving Bell exemplify how healthy and forward-thinking this micro-scene really is. "

Live Zine

SONS: Local indie-rock band Sons. are a four-piece fusing funky beats with hard hitting riffs to create something totally unique. Rapidly gaining pace on the local gigging circuit, they're looking forward to opening at The Exchange for the first time!
