Rhyme and Reason return and are once again showcasing one of the most prestigious and influential artists in the history of hip-hop. We are delighted to announce the return to Bristol of New York rap veteran Duval Clear, also known as MASTA ACE. Originally a bandmate of Kool G Rap and Big Daddy Kane, Ace has gone on to make 8 critically acclaimed albums including slaughtahouse and disposable arts and start his new label M3. Don't miss the chance to see this artist and his guests play in the smallest most intimate venue on tour. Check out Ace performing with underground legend WORDSMITH.
Joining Masta Ace will be Bristol's legendary Turntablist SIR BEANS OBE. Playing in a long overdue Bristol appearance, witness the wizardry of this award winning DJ and Beatmaker.
Bristol based collective SPLIT PROPHETS are proving to be on of the biggest heavyweights in underground UK HipHop. About to drop their second album along with a host of solo and collaborative projects, the Prophets are made up of mixture of completely different rapping styles and production from DJ Badhabitz (Krate Krusaders)
Be sure to also check out Bristol's latest hip-hop talent INDEX. Showcasing new material, Index has been supporting High Focus artists and many others all over the country.
Also playing is R+R debutant GEORGE CHRO on the ones and twos and baffling beatboxer MINAMUS....
