A
event
on Monday 17th July. The event starts at 19:00pm.
We have two great local authors this month!
Virginia Bergin has had lots of different jobs – so many she’s lost count - but for us she will be in her guise of an author. Her most recent book is a YA sci-fi novel where sixty years after a virus has wiped out almost all the men on the planet. She lives on a council estate in Bristol, UK. She likes science, archaeology, nature, art and walking.
Justin Newland was born in the tenth ember of 1953, making him a Capricorn. Hey, someone has to be one. Today, he lives with his partner in plain sight of the Mendip Hills, in Somerset, England and writes historical, fantasy and speculative fiction with a supernatural bent. He'll be reading from his debut novel, The Genes of Isis.
BristolCon Fringe is based in the function room on the first floor of The Famous Royal Navy Volunteer on King Street. The function room is on the left as you pass the bar, but if in doubt then ask the staff.
Doors at 7pm, with readings starting promptly at 7:30pm. The event usually finishes around 9pm
The event is free to attend and there will be a Q&A after the readings where the audience will have an opportunity to ask questions to the authors.
