on Monday 20th March. The event starts at 19:00pm.
It's dark and foreboding BristolCon Fringe this month!
We are pleased to be joined by Paul Cornell and Steph Minns.
Paul is an award-winning writer of novels, comics, short fiction and non-fiction, as well as a TV screenwriter for Doctor Who and many other series. His latest novel, Chalk, is a personal, and often brutal, look at the psychological cost of bullying and childhood trauma, laced with dark magic.
Supporting Paul will be Steph Minns, a local horror writer whose novellas and short stories have been published in several horror anthologies by indie publishers Almond Press, Grinning Skull Press, Horrified Press and Dark Alley Press, among others. She will be reading from her latest collection of dark fiction tales, The Obsidian Path.
We are now based in the function room on the first floor of The Famous Royal Navy Volunteer on King Street. The function room is on the left as you pass the bar, but if in doubt then ask the staff!
Doors at 7pm, with readings starting promptly at 7:30pm.
The event is free to attend and there will be a Q&A after the readings where the audience will have an opportunity to ask questions to the authors.
