Comedy Loft are bringing their successful roast battle formula for a one off special in November to warm your cockles with laughs at the expense of each other.

You'll see stand up comedians battle against each other, trading one-liners and put downs to get the better of their opponents and come out with only their egos and self esteem battered and bruised.

Our roast judges are experienced acts around the south west circuit and beyond, who will cast their opinion on proceedings and choose who wins each battle.

If you've seen a roast battle before then you know what this is all about. If you've not seen a comedy roast battle before then you're in for a treat. Expect to see material ranging from the silly to the very dark from each of our competitors as they attempt to one up their opponent and score points with the judges. After 3 rounds the act that wins the most votes from the judges wins the battle and has bragging rights for evermore.

The night is free but we'll be asking for donations at the end. These will all be going to mind, the mental health charity.

Expect to see boxing meets comedy but with the only damage inflicted being to the comics' egos.
