Valient Thorr

Valient Thorr is a wild ass rocknroll band said to hail from inside of the planet Venus. Since crash landing on Earth in the year 2000 they've played well over 1500 shows all over the world. They've toured with visionaries from Motorhead and Joan Jett to contemporary heroes like Mastodon, Gogol Bordello, Fu Manchu and Clutch.

Since 2005 they did two full summer stints on the Warped Tour, and played huge festivals like Download in the UK, Sonisphere in Spain, Hellfest in France, Graspop in Belgium, and Roskilde in Denmark just to name a few. They put out six full length records and two seven inches in that time. And just so you don't think we're blowing smoke, look them up! This is only the cusp of the feats of greatness this hard working, sweat drenched band has accomplished. And that's just SO FAR!! Take it from any of their legion of fans all over the world known as the Thorriors:

"My God they're striking. All Hail Thorriors!" - Wayne Kramer, MC5.

The Admiral Sir Cloudesley Shovell

http://www.riseaboverecords.com/artists/riseaboveartists/admiralsircloudesleyshovell/

The last of a dying breed of Grease Rock Bastard musicians who somehow, despite and in spite of the last 3 decades trying their best to kill off balls out, non-bullshit rock’n’roll music, somehow, against all the fucking odds, still exist, surviving on a steady diet of God sent gigs, hire vans, broken down amps, split drum skins, greasy spoon fry ups, patched up jeans, roll-ups, cheap leather jackets, booze, weed and bathtub speed.

Their debut 2011 Rise Above 7″, Return To Zero’/’Day After Day, sold out instantly and now commands £100 plus a copy; their 2012 debut long-player DON’T HEAR IT…FEAR IT received unilateral rave reviews and was described pretty accurately by one scribe as ‘the aural equivalent of stumbling into an 18 year-old male’s bedsit in 1973 – the kind of greasy hard-rock thrills rarely heard in this climate of blind nostalgia and misjudged authenticity. It’s hard ‘n’ heavy, without the marshmallow; it’s old-fashioned yet so NOW that it hurts!’’

They’ve toured and played with the likes of Orange Goblin, Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats, Incredible Hog, Gentlemans Pistols, Graveyard, Gonga and countless more, toured Europe and had chief Groundhog Tony McPhee playing on their first LP!

Old Man Lizard

Since forming in Autumn 2011, Suffolk sludge/stoner outfit Old Man Lizard have received praise from critics and fans alike for their live shows and recorded output. They have officially released a split 7" with Earthmass (on Big Riff Records) and Debut album "Lone Wolf Vs Brown Bear" (on Wickerman Recordings). The power trio, made up of Jack Newnham (also of Slabdragger and Meadows), Gav Senior and Dan Beales have played the main stages at Desertfest, Belgium and Hard Rock Hell, Wales. They have toured the UK several times including shows with heavyweights Conan and Dopethrone, as well as other seminal acts like Dead Meadow, Arabrot and Honky.

In addition to a tour with Black Rainbows in June, the latter half of 2015 will see the release of a new Vinyl 12" from Old Man Lizard and a Euro/UK Tour to promote it. The album, to be released by Heavy Psych Sounds, will consist of brand new recordings of old demo tracks as well as completely new material; for fans of Harvey Milk, Taint, Kyuss, Baroness and Earth.
