Following the success of their first two studio albums ‘Bedroom’ and ‘I Don’t Know’, bdrmm have seemingly joined forces with the corporate tech giant MicroTech, known for their research contributions to the medical and scientific sectors.

Earlier in the year, when asked in an interview with KeepItLive about how they came to be involved with Microtech, frontman Ryan Smith said “sorry, we’re not really allowed to talk about it.”

In the weeks following the interview, the band reportedly went on a sabbatical, recording their new album at one of MicroTech’s facilities and seem to have been on hiatus ever since.

There appears to be some sort of link between their new album and MicroTech’s latest product ‘Microtonic’ which is said to be the ‘future’s solution’. The mysterious blue liquid will soon be available globally to purchase and is said to help the user achieve ‘maximised potential’. Microtonic is also rumoured to be engineered into the digital and physical aspects of bdrmm’s same named record, transmitting frequencies and releasing particles intended to stimulate the listeners response.

The true nature of bdrmm and MicroTech’s relationship is unknown, but through various online articles and social media posts made by the band and company, they claim that one thing is certain. Change is coming.
