RYAN BINGHAM

George Ryan Bingham (born March 31, 1981 in Hobbs, New Mexico) is an American folk rock/Americana singer/songwriter.

He dropped out of school at 17 and was introduced to rodeo bull riding. He learned the emotional aspect early in life, when shuttling between small towns and family members in the hardscrabble ranching communities of West Texas and Hobbs, New Mexico and became well-acquainted with the physical facets during his years on the Southwestern rodeo circuit.

That ache is palpable in the grooves of Mescalito, Ryan Bingham's Lost Highway debut, but what's even more plain is the steely strength needed to overcome it a tenor that's evident in both the singer-songwriter's preternaturally wizened voice and his remarkably poignant songs, which resonate with roadhouse wisdom and rough-and-ready border-town piquancy.

LIAM GERNER

Despite his years, it's been a long journey for 25-year old Liam Gerner. Having written songs and performed in his native South Australia since the age of 12, his relentless touring schedule has provided him with countless stories to explore in his songs. The result is a debut album packed full of narrative pearls to penetrate the heart of the human condition.

"These are the songs I wrote while in the Australian desert playing in bars to miners. There are tales of a dustman I saw in London, a refugee boat in Indonesia, an Aussie character called Benny Seal and a certain Spanish lady!

Recorded at Air Studios with top producer Andy Strange (Elton John, INXS) and influenced by old blues and folk, Liam continues, "I've tried to capture all of the stories, places and music I've had in my life so far on this record".
