Lynks Afrikka and others at The Fleece

A gig held at The Fleece on Wednesday 29th January. The event starts at 19:00.

Live in da Hive are very excited to present their first event of the year bringing you the best electronic dance, hip hop and pop on the scene promoting the phenomenal queer culture Bristol has to offer. Kiara Yorke will be opening the night with her chill voice and hip hop soul beats, followed by B-J’s; the Bloody Bristol electronic duo. Try Me, the free-spirited, disco-punk pair will get the crowd boogying before BAAST drop their potent mix of hard rhythms and spatial electronics. Headlining this epic night, Lynks Afrikka will be incorporating drag, dance and theatre: ‘to empower queerness and mock the joyless stoicism (and sonic conservatism) of contemporary club-culture’. Featured in The Guardian’s top 100, one to watch for 2020 this is a show you will not want to miss.
