XL Middleton and Moniquea of Los Angeles - perform a one off show in Bristol, bringing a night full of pure and unadulterated west-coast Funk and Hip Hop.
Los Angeles funk party ‘Indeed Indeed’ is hosted by artist/DJ/producer XL Middleton and resident DJ/vocalist Moniquea. Hailing from Pasadena, LA, host to and organising the largest Funk Festival in the west coast of California, as well running a record store, XL Middleton brings something unique to Bristol, with his synth songs, raps and live heavy weight stage performance. Moniquea hits the sweet spot, with her soulful and hard hitting vocals her new single ‘Womp In My Spirit’ creating a high in any room when the needle drops.

Expect high energy low rider funk, with a dash of the LA themes which they are both notably famous for on Dublab radio where Moniquea hosts her monthly show Jammin’ Croquettes, the California/west coast funk scene overall, as well as in the clubs and the studio

Local artists will warm up the space from 7.30 until 9pm. DJ NuBalance, Bristol’s hip hop foundation and a funk collector too is coming out to perform as a special guest, with his seamless mix of classic tunes, you will want to get up and boogie!
