Alternative Milks & Pet Insurance
A gig held at The Grain Barge on Friday 16th February. The event starts at 20:30.
ALTERNATIVE MILKS
Bristol-based alt-rock quartet alternative milks are about to make your non-dairy dreams come true. Imagine you’re having an existential crisis and you’re kind of enjoying it. You cry, you dance, you’re angry - but dammit you’re okay with it.
Angular guitar, playful vocals and a beat that just won’t quit; they’re sure to satisfy your sonic receivers.
PET INSURANCE
Bristol based art rock, post-punk combining angular guitar lines and dynamic drums with the charisma of an Essex-born frontman singing about the anxieties and isolation of modern life, through to his desire to become a TV opera singer.
Blending the top lines of 60’s west coast psychedelic country, with the dark and moody tones of 80’s ballads. Think safe as milk era Beefheart meets Robert Smith, wrapped up with post-punk drive.
Entry requirements: no age restrictions
