A
gig
held at The Grain Barge
on Friday 31st October. The event starts at 19:00.
It's WITCH TIME so strap on those proton packs, ensure you have sufficient materials for ritual bindings, and read some Crowley before rockin' on down to the Grain Barge on the 31st October for a spook filled night of dumb rock and Simpsons references. FEATURING:
THE ORNSTEINS POWER-POP REVUE
These slack-as-fuck power pop legends have been throwing all kinds of shit into that bubbling cauldron and summoning a wall-to-wall set of spooky themed covers, joined by some of their extended coven for at least 200% extra ROCK POWER. The first outing for this covers-based incarnation of your favourite old one's favourite band, but certainly not the last. Expect singalongs, huge facemelters, and wholesome stupidity.
HUMDRUM
Conjoured up as a result of a poetic jam ritual gone right, graveyard-botherers Humdrum are going to keep the tired and malevolent spirits of boring music at bay with their occult blend of diverse styles incorporating rock, jazz, shoegaze, and neo-psychedelia. Chosen by Alan Moore as one of his favourite band that begins with a H and that freaky wizard is never wrong.
FINGERTRAP
Carved out of the raw concrete of The Deaner, FINGERTRAP have been animated by nu-metal necromancy and are ready to be unleashed upon the unsuspecting patrons of the Barge, casting dark spells and riff-heavy hexes that are sure to whip the crowds of former innocents into a slamdancing, chorus howling menagerie of degenerate freaks. Allegedly in possession of the red cap from the video for 'ROLLIN', from which they draw their power.
And, of course, the usual Wild Kindness concoction of DJ's, excellent vibes, and good motherfuckin times (but THIS TIME IT'S SPOOKY).
All post expenses proceeds split evenly between the artists. Wild Kindness is a division of Ornsteins Inc.
