Affordable Jazz

A gig held at The Grain Barge on Thursday 26th March. The event starts at 20:15.

JIMBINO VEGAN and THE JAZZ CANNIBALS will fill your ears with joyful and hopeful sounds and embrace your heart and mind with his original songs - fun, energetic, animated, passionate words of love... love for spaghetti, the Overground, friends, peace, women, men, birds, cycling, the seaside and language. His songs reveal the stunning sunshine in even the most difficult moments in life. Influenced by old New Orleans jazz and protest music from Benjamin Zephaniah to Dick Gaughan. London born, he joined a cycle circus at 24 years old and travelled overland from Spain to Thailand for 4 years by cycle with them campaiging against fossil fuels before moving to New Orleans where he worked for 6 years as a musician. His aim is to use art to lift spirits, bring people together and remind folks how wonderful it is to be alive with each other here and now. The fantastic JAZZ CANNIBALS, include Tim “That’s Fair” Fairhall on contra-bass and 'Flank' Weatherley on tenor and flute and a mystery guest who will blow your socks off (not literally).
