The Sessions ft. Nigel Greville & Berty at The Green Man
See event details

A gig on Sunday 18th February. The event starts at 17:00.

This month at The Green Man we have the wealth of experience in Blues and Folk Nigel Greville and the nuance piano works of the Forest of Dean's very own Berty.

Nigel Greville;
Nigel Greville has been playing music since he was a young'un in single figures so it is no surprise he's been a corner stone for the Bristol music scene for decades!
His characteristically soft speaking voice tells stories through his folk works yet in the blink of an eye he's able to provide the grit & gravel necessary to cement the emotion he's feeling when the music elevates to an emotional crescendo. A real joy to watch!

and

Berty;
Berty is a soulful folk musician from the Forest of Doom, an introvert that has terrible word vomit and writes authentic moving lyrics. She shares her stories and life's tales on the keys with her haunting vocals.
Berty has been cutting her teeth busking all across the South West for well over a decade before settling just over the bridge amongst the trees so we're incredibly excited to have her back in Bristol for one afternoon!

As ever, our host Max Harrison will open the afternoon with a short set before handing the torch over to these two marvellous songwriters.
