on Tuesday 11th November. The event starts at 19:30.
Join us for an unforgettable evening of bold new theatre as we present two fresh pieces of work-in-progress, all supported by The Scratch Theatre.
These pieces had their first outing at one of our previous Scratch Nights, and we’re thrilled to welcome them back at a later stage of development. With our continued support, these artists have been able to push their ideas further, and we can’t wait to share where the work has taken them. Expect stories that will make you laugh, maybe even cry, spark joy and escape, but also open your eyes to the challenges and experiences people face every day. These shows are not to be missed.
ABOUT THE PIECES:
How to be an Energy Choreographer:
Join Billy'un, the 7th Master of Energy Choreography for this sharing of ancient knowledge, and learn the dexterous art of energy choreography, the mystical ways of Spiral illumination and the true path of your own hearts desire. Expect light, laughter and abundance in this warm hearted story, created and performed by Nick Fogarty and directed by Willow Vidal-Hall
How To Survive An Apocalypse:
How To Survive an Apocalypse is a dark comedy solo show that descends into an existential search for how to survive after a miscarriage that felt like a personal apocalypse. Devised using a combination of physical theatre and sketch comedy. Written & performed by Grania Pickard (Artistic Director of Oddly Moving) and directed by Willow Vidal-Hall.
This promises to be an evening of theatre that is alive, immediate, and bursting with ideas—come and be part of the journey.
