A
event
on Wednesday 7th October. The event starts at 20:00.
The summer is over, at least as far as festivals are concerned, so it's time to venture indoors to The Greenbank once again for our comedy fix. This month we'll be joined by:
BEC HILL
Inventive, joyous and celebratory, BEC HILL is a lover of puns, prop, video and audio gags. In 2014 she won the award for Best Show at the Edinburgh Fringe as voted for by her fellow performers, and aside from her own comedy she's also the founder of the Pun Run. She's well known for her creativity and we can't wait to see what she has in store for us.
"There's something special about Bec Hill. " The Times.
"One of the stand-out shows in this year's comedy programme" The Sunday Herald.
CHRIS BETTS
Sharply written & hilarious observations from our favourite bartender-turned-comic, fresh from his debut Edinburgh hour.
"Properly hilarious" - What's On London
"Consistently funny" - Wow247
BISHA K. ALI
Expect laid back, conversational comedy from this thoughtful writer & comedian. Also prone to silliness & digression.
"Already seems to know more about comedy than many veterans of the art form.' - Adam Bloom
BOB WILDLIFE
Former hand double for Terry Nutkins and now"star" of the after-dinner circuit, local celebrity Bob Wildlife shares tales of the BBC Natural History Unit.
Our host for the evening is the lovely PHIL COOPER. A warm and friendly presence on what could be a cold night.
£5. Doors are at 7.30pm - please be aware that the downstairs bar will be busy so arrive in plenty of time.
