Beltane Day Retreat, Bristol. Create, Connect & Enter Summer with Intention at The Greenhouse, Hereford Street, Bedminster, Bristol, BS3 4NA
See event details

A event on Saturday 2nd May. The event starts at 11:00.

This Beltane Day Retreat is an invitation to step away from the everyday noise and into a slower, more intentional rhythm. Across the day you’ll take part in different nature-led practices to help you reset, then reconnect with yourself and nature.

Learn to make floral-inspired artwork, create a beautiful floral bouquet to welcome the season ahead, and take part in reflective journalling to focus your intentions on growth, renewal and new beginnings- the themes of Beltane.

You’ll be guided to release what’s been weighing you down, and turn towards what you want to cultivate this summer. Expect a day that feels nourishing, inspiring, and quietly transformative.

This retreat is for you if...

- You feel burnt out or in need of a proper reset
- You’re craving a day to slow down and focus on yourself
- You enjoy creativity, nature, and trying something new
- You love the idea of seasonal rituals, or are curious to find out more
- You want to connect with like-minded people in a relaxed, welcoming space

Come as you are... no experience needed.

What to expect

We’ll guide you through a thoughtfully held, relaxed day:

- A gentle grounding meditation to help you arrive and settle in
- A “permission slip” for the session so you can get what you need from it
- Learn more about Beltane and how to bring creative rituals into your everyday life
- Reflective journaling prompts to help you set intentions for the summer season
- A creative session making your own floral artwork (a mixture of drawing, watercolour, poetry and collage)
- A guided flower arranging workshop with our special guest Sarah (aka The Bristol Flowerpot Girl), who’ll share her approach to working with seasonal flowers and the lessons they’ve taught her about patience and reconnecting with herself.
- Create a bouquet with meaning using market-fresh, locally sourced seasonal blooms under Sarah’s guidance. Your bouquet will dry beautifully at home, and act as a reminder of your summer intentions.
- Space to reflect, share (if you want to) and feel part of a supportive community

Throughout the day you’ll be free to move at your own pace, connect with others, and enjoy the process without pressure.

For this workshop, we’ve teamed up with the wonderful Sarah (aka The Bristol Flowerpot Girl):

“In 2022, I spent a summer working on a flower farm in California, and little did I know how transformative of an experience it would be for me. Over the years, flowers have not just taught me countless lessons, but also provided me with comfort and beauty during times of uncertainty. Fast forward to today, I am eager to share the lessons that flowers taught me with others, and show how they can be the catalyst for so much more than we realise, while celebrating the beauty and creative freedom they give.”
