Shibari and Guided Meditation

Shibari and Guided Meditation at The Greenhouse XSUK

An event on Friday 18th September. The event starts at 18:30.

Have you been feeling Overwhelmed? Ungrounded? Disconnected from yourself? Discover the tranquillity and control that can be found through Shibari, the art of rope bondage and allow yourself to be lead through a grounding meditation.

In this session you will be shown how to bind your leg in a simple, safe, and secure self-tie to evoke deep pressure stimulation. Onyx will guide you through a meditative mind/body check in to offer a space for regulation and balance.

Shibari is known to have a calming and re-centering effect on the body, and you should leave this class feeling equipped to use the techniques covered to ground yourself whenever you need.

First run outside in a hazel grove, we're excited to be bringing our meditation session to a new venue in the heart of Bedminster.

Rope, Yoga Mats, and Safety shears will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own if preferred. The venue is wheelchair accessible, if you have additional accessibility needs or concerns please feel free contact the organisers who will attempt to make any adjustments to accommodate. All bathrooms are unisex.

The class will start promptly at 6:30, if you are familiar and comfortable with the futomomo leg binding you may arrive up to 15 minutes later. There will be no admittance after 6:45 for any reason to avoid disruption to the space.

Please come dressed appropriately for meditation in clothes which are comfortable.

Photography is not permitted.
